We are now past the half-way mark in the Club year and still some great outings ahead of us. But first, in this month's newsletter, we have an outing report for the ANSA Nowra Convention attended by Zane, Sarah, Zack and myself. I'll also give an update in this newsletter on what I learnt about the Carp Herpes Virus at the stakeholder workshop co hosted by the National Carp Control Plan and the ACT Government.

Unfortunately, Zane, Sarah, Zack and I did not weigh in any fish for the Nowra Convention. However, we did have a great time camping and cooking dinners at the Culburra Beach Holiday Park. I will be nominating Zane for the Stirrer's Spoon award this year. Not because he has been stirring @%#! but because I know he will put it to great culinary use. I think I enjoyed Zane's cooking more than the fishing. Did I mention, Zane can cook! I never knew you could transform humble roo fillets into an explosion of flavours. I wrote a short article on the Convention you can read later in the newsletter.
