Who We Are

The Canberra Fisherman’s Club Inc. is a local sport fishing club catering for the needs of the ACT’s competitive and social anglers alike. Copies of our current By-Laws and Constitution provide more details on our rules and regulations .

Through our affiliation with the Australian National Sportfishing Association (ANSA), and working closely in our regoin with ANSA NSW, our members are entitled to fish for State, National and International Records, attain Master Angler Awards and compete in ANSA Conventions.
We are also affiliated with the NSW Council of Freshwater Anglers (NSW CFA).

The club also supports the Australian Recreational Fishing Foundation which is the national representative organisation for recreational fishing in Australia. Through this the Club supports the National Recreational Fishing Code of Practice Foudation Document for Recreational and Sport Fishing. 

Not everyone takes their fishing that seriously though! We don’t mind if you’re a competitive or social angler, we hope to cater for everyone.
