The Lake Tuggeranong Family Fishing Day was run and won.

The Canberra Fishermans Club wishes to thank all 312 participants, their families and helpers who attended and supported our event the Lake Tuggeranong Family Fishing Day in the 37 °C heat on Sunday 19th March 2023. We thank you for your patience while we managed the new technologies we were using. Whilst we make every effort to get things right on the day sometimes mistakes are made.

The club wishes to apologise to a junior angler, Liam Reid who put in a big effort on the redfin on Sunday and actually took out the Junior Boy Heaviest overall bag of Redfin with a bag of 6.13kg, but unfortunately an admin error admitted this from the winners report. Through the club and our sponsors Liam will not miss out and will be awarded a prize and has been added to the winners report.

Thanks to our club volunteers who gave their time to help run the event, the Lake Tuggeranong Sea Scouts for their assistance with the venue for HQ setup and for catering on the day with great bacon and egg rolls, sausage sandwiches and drinks.

We also could not have run the event without our sponsors and supporters and finally the participants and their families and helpers.

A Big Thank You to You All.

Following are the stats for the day and the happy winners.
