Another good year for the club as 2014 draws to a close. Some new members, plenty of stayers and, our two main events the Canberra Carp-Out and the Burrinjuck Convention were again highly successful thanks to our sponsors and the terrific volunteers in our members and committees.

The Canberra Fisherman's Club had another successful December cod opening outing with the good folks from the Morven Club. Despite the weather being a little unpredictable and very wet, through the rain we managed to come home with the trophy. Thanks again to the Morven club who were good sports and great company. The change to holding a lunchtime barby on the Saturday also worked well with Morven catering this year making it our turn to take on the tongs and flipper in 2015.
